FIFTEEN YEARS ON - Pasadena Roof Orchestra
CD Number: URCD227
This album Fifteen Years On was originally recorded in 1984 and was the first release on the newly formed Pasadena Roof Orchestra label. We are delighted to re-release it now in 2009. It is a collection of great titles, brilliantly performed by this renowned jazz orchestra.
Fifteen years on from what - you may ask? Well from the musical equivalent of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls - the discovery in a Manchester attic in 1969 of humdreds of original arrangements from the 1920s and 1930s which was the inspiration for no less than the formation of the band! Now you can sit back and enjoy these wonderful arrangements all over again!
